About Me

I am a board certified adult psychiatrist who evaluates and treats a range of psychiatric illnesses. I graduated from The University of Michigan, obtaining my undergraduate and medical degrees from this school. I completed a four-year adult psychiatry residency at the University of Michigan, graduating in 2014. From 2014-2019, I worked as a faculty member at The University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry. During my time there, I served as Assistant Director of the Anxiety Disorders Clinic, attending psychiatrist for the Women and Infants Mental Health Clinic, and Director of Michigan Medicine's Medical Student and House Officer Mental Health Programs. Physician mental health has been my primary area of academic and clinical interest.

I particularly enjoy working with college and graduate students, young professionals of all sorts, women during the peripartum period, and individuals with anxiety and depression. I utilize a holistic approach that takes into account the biological, psychological, and social factors that contribute to a person's mental health. Treatment often involves a combination of medication and psychotherapy, as well as healthy lifestyle changes to promote wellness.

My goal is to partner with my patients, in order to help them recover from whatever is troubling them, and to help restore each person to his or her full and unique potential.
